Victorian Land Registry Services had a vision of creating a space that empowered their staff, providing a place for them to innovate together.

Following Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Capabuild were delighted to once again partner with PTID and Aston Consulting to deliver this exciting new project. The design features an extensive range of feature floor, wall and ceiling, finishes.

The curved multi levelled feature ceilings were extensively workshopped with our key joinery and ceilings subcontractors during pre-construction and the implementation of CNC routed templates ensured the quality finish was achieved.

With a raised floor installed as part of the base building design, many height adjustments were required to accommodate the range of feature floor finishes. Completing these works early in the construction sequence proved invaluable minimising the time the floor void was open therefore mitigating the OH&S risk.

Delivered during the height of the Covid lockdowns, Capabuild implemented “virtual fly throughs” on a weekly basis providing VLRS and the consultant team the opportunity to view the project in real time, making them feel part of the construction journey.
