CBRE, Carr Design & EngineerWith a Construction Management approach adopted, we liaised with the Carr team during the latter stages of design phase ensuring coordination of the design and mitigation of lead time concerns through appropriate material selection.
With subcontractor selection on key trades of high importance, we worked closely with the team through the tender phase ensuring quality objectives were achieved. Once engaged, we undertook extensive design workshopping sessions to resolve details and buildability items to alleviate the pressure of the tight programme.
Delivered in an occupied building and live environment, the team carefully managed the programme, sequencing noisy and disruptive works out of hours to ensure individual milestone dates were met and the overall programme remained on track.
Regular communication and weekly site walk throughs along with proactive defect management in the concluding stages resulted in a great outcome
