Savills, Cube, ECMThe largely open plan workspace provided new accommodation for several departments who were to be collocated. The office design, based on the SSP accommodation guidelines, provides a range of flexible work settings and open collaborative spaces complementing the traditional open plan workspace.
During the early weeks of construction, an existing communications rack on one of the floors was found to be servicing other levels in the building and therefore had to remain live throughout. Following several weeks of planning, a cutover was undertaken out of hours eliminating the risk of any downtime.
After a delay in the base building works, the final stage of the project, the client facing Customer Service Centre on Level 1, was fast tracked to meet the relocation date.
