Continuing our long-term partnership with Deakin University, we were delighted to partner with them again to deliver both Stage 1 and 2 of the Building GB redevelopments at the Greenwood Park campus.

Deakin University’s objective was to create a workspace for their ITS teams to support their new strategy of flexible and collaborative ways of working.

The site presented several challenges, not least of which was difficult access for loading and unloading of materials. To ensure efficiencies and to maintain programme, we erected a large external scaffold and removed a portion of the façade to allow efficient load out of materials. This also ensured more efficient loading of new construction materials onto site during the build.

In addition to high end architectural finishes, the scope also included the relocation of high-end interactive audio-visual equipment. As part of this process, we engaged a relocation specialist with previous experience to minimise risk

Capabuild’ s proactive and flexible approach was a key contributor to the success of the project.
