Capabuild worked closely with carsales to deliver the extensive refurbishment of their existing office in Cremorne. A key driver for carsales was to increase workplace capacity and provide increased amenity for staff.

Working in an occupied office space, Capabuild devised a complex staging strategy ensuring the refurbishment was delivered via a multi staged approach allowing carsales to continue to operate throughout.

With budget constraints, Capabuild worked collaboratively with the project team to explore extensive value management options to reduce cost and ultimately meet budget.

Two key features of the refurbishment (basement End of Trip facility and the large multi-function breakout space on Level 1) were prioritised in the staging sequence to minimise the inconvenience of a drawn-out refurbishment process and lift staff morale.

Key to the success of the project, was strong communication between our onsite delivery team and the carsales project team, naturally occurring on a daily basis, ensuring carsales staff expectations were effectively managed throughout.
